To testers, more resource on using WordPress can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page. In the simplest of sense, WordPress is both a blogging software and a powerful CMS (Content Management System).
To post a new post:
- Log in
- Press new
- Click post
- Enter your desired title and use the built in editor to post
- After you are done and ready to publish, click publish on the right pane like so:
- To add a ‘featured post image’ upload an image in the ‘Canvas Custom Settings’ as shown below:
- To add a video, copy the embed link from the video source, and paste it in the Embed box as shown below for example:
- To add an image in your post click the upload/Insert media icon on the upper left of your edit box as shown below:
Select your image file > set the formatting that you desire > click use this image > click the save all settings button OR press the X to close the window
