Vision is one of the senses given by god which is an important aspect in human life. With this sense, human are able to see the beauty of the god’s creations. But some of them are unfortunate because they do not have this one sense which will give them some problem to do the daily chores like a normal person do. The problem becomes worse when they are unfamiliar with the place. Hence, to minimize their difficulties, a concept has been thought to help Visually Impaired people to understand things and their surroundings. Thus this report discusses on designing and developing a solenoid-based refreshable Braille cell by controlling push-type solenoid by using Arduino microcontroller. In most of the refreshable Braille applications, they use solenoid Braille cells are able to operate with low voltage from the command input of any Braille character. The design for each solenoid Braille cells is depended to each Braille character that will consist of six dots in rectangular array 3x2. The display of Solenoid Braille consists of structural base and a pin. The active dot which is corresponding to the input signal from the user will rise up when it is triggered by the electrical signals. For the Arduino microcontroller, the program language is written in CCS C program language
